Intel, a
semiconductor firm, declared that Santhosh Viswanathan will lead the India locale business as its Managing Director (MD). He has been working with the firm for close to 21 years.
"In March this year, Intel announced India as a separate region within its SMG (Sales, Marketing and Communications Group) organisation, to capitalise on the country's rapid growth and business opportunities. Santhosh Viswanathan, VP and MD-India region will lead the newly formed region, leveraging his expertise to drive value and customer-centricity," Intel said.
He has designated for the role of Vice President and Managing Director for the Indian market in July 2022. Presently, the firm has carved out India as a different locale.
Intel also appointed Hans Chuang as General Manager (GM) of SMG Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). He will be responsible for the firm's overall business in the APJ area, including driving income development, participating with nearby communities to open new doors, and reinforcing existing customer and partner connections, the company added.
Intel is an American multinational corporation and
technology firm situated in Santa Clara, California, and consolidated in Delaware. The company is one of the world's biggest semiconductor chip makers by income.
Intel supplies chips for most makers of computer systems and is one of the developers of the x86 series of guidance sets tracked down in most PCs (computers). It produces chipsets, network interface regulators, graphics processing units (GPUs), flash memory, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and different gadgets connected with communications and computing.
