IT giant Cognizant on Monday announced of acquisition of Linium, which is a cloud-transformation consultancy group. It is its second acquisition in a single day after acquiring Servian, which is an Australia-based enterprise transformation consultancy firm, specialized in data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital services and cloud.
With these two fresh acquisitions, Cognizant has announced a total of 11 acquisitions in the past 12 months after an investment of approximately $1.4 billion in its strategic digital focus fields of cloud, data and artificial intelligence, digital engineering, and internet of things.
Now, as Cognizant completes Linium transaction, the company’s cloud strategy will get acceleration, thereby stamping on Cognizant’s seventh cloud-related acquisition since January 2020.

Linium operates as the ServiceNow business unit of Ness Digital Engineering, a privately-held portfolio of the company of The Rohatyn Group.

The transactions of both Linium and Servian are expected to close in the first quarter of 2021.
