Penguin Solutions, Inc. announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with SK Telecom (“SKT”) and SK hynix to work on the creation and provision of extensive AI data center (“AIDC”) solutions. The deal, finalized at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, comes after SKT’s $200 million strategic investment in Penguin Solutions was completed in December, as the AI infrastructure sector continues to expand across various industries.

Collaborating with SKT and SK hynix is anticipated to improve Penguin Solutions’ capability to provide AI infrastructure solutions and services effectively to new markets and areas. The focus of the partnership is to enhance each firm's capacity to explore, innovate, and promote advanced, reliable accelerated computing technologies and solutions.

Penguin Solutions’ OriginAI solution architecture enhances the utilization rates of AI compute clusters, leveraging the capabilities of Penguin Solutions’ Scyld ClusterWare® intelligent management software. Penguin Solutions’ Scyld ClusterWare software, in conjunction with SKT’s AI infrastructure management software, enhances functionalities for easier installation, deployment, and optimization of a comprehensive AI deployment that can be overseen from start to finish by Penguin Solutions’ proficient AI services team.
