Princeton Digital Group, a global data center operator, has partnered with Mindspace Business Parks REIT backed by K Raheja Corp to build its biggest data center campus in India at Mindspace Airoli West. In this fresh deal, Mindspace REIT will construct 3 more tailor-made data centers, increasing the portfolio of the Singapore data center provider by an additional 1 million sq ft.

The REIT has constructed two data centers for Princeton Digital Group, totaling almost 0.63 million sq ft in size. After the new facilities are finished, the business park will have five data center buildings and the total data center area in the Mindspace REIT portfolio will be approximately 1.65 million sq ft. This project, covering 15 acres, will be integrated into the 50-acre campus ecosystem of Mindspace Airoli West.

“This deal reinforces our commitment to diversifying our portfolio and tapping into high-growth sectors like data centers. For us, integrating data centers into our portfolio makes strategic sense as they offer stable and long-term revenue streams, future proof our portfolio, and help diversify income sources,” said Ramesh Nair, CEO, Mindspace REIT.

Mindspace REIT will offer PDG a comprehensive range of turnkey services, such as power infrastructure customized to achieve sustainability objectives. These initiatives are in line with the REIT's dedication to promoting digital innovation and upholding environmental sustainability.

Navi Mumbai is now a prominent center for cloud infrastructure, thanks to its strategic proximity to submarine cable landing stations, reliable power supply without any interruptions, access to renewable energy, and strong infrastructure. The micro-market is in a good position to support the expansion of AI technologies, making it a great option for AI-enabled data center campuses.
