NTA releases NEET 2020 Application: Know Here Application Details

The application form of NEET 2020 releases on 2 nd December by the National Testing Agency. Eligible students can now register for the exam through the website. Complete application form can be filled by the applicants online till 31 st December 2019.

As per the notification launched by NTA, the national level medical entrance exam of NEET 2020 will be held on 3 rd May 2020. The paper will be held through offline mode. Students who will qualify this medical test will be considered eligible for admission into MBBS, BDS, Ayush courses, etc.

Admission will be provided in various approved medical/ dental colleges in India. Also, as per the newly introduced Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET from now onwards will be common medical exam for admission into JIPMER and AIIMS institutions.

Applicants must check complete eligibility criteria of NEET before applying for it. As per the eligibility norms, the applying candidate should be 12 th passed with PCBE as subjects securing 50% marks (45% for PH; 40% for SC/ST/OBC). Also candidate must have completed the age of 17 years.

The application fee to be paid by NEET applicants is Rs.1500 for General candidates; Rs.1400 for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL and Rs.800 for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender.

The fee can be paid using Credit or Debit Card/ Net-banking or by UPI/ Paytm.

NEET 2020 Registration Steps:

To apply for NEET 2020, check the below given steps:

  • Visit the website – www.ntaneet.nic.in
  • Click on the provided ‘New Registration’ option.
  • Register with the basic details – name, email-id, mobile number, etc.
  • Now, submit the application form after entering your complete details.
  • Pay the NEET application fee through the available mode.
  • Print the fee receipt and the application form.

Students must submit their application fee before the last date i.e. 1 st January 2020. The authority after concluding the application process will also open the correction facility from 15 th January 2020 to 31st January 2020. An email/ SMS will be sent to the registered candidates regarding the correction.
