Svante Technologies Inc. (Svante), a prominent innovator in carbon capture and removal technology, has partnered with Tenaska, a major provider of CO2 transportation and sequestration services, to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focused on working together to deliver affordable, integrated solutions for carbon capture and storage (CCS) in multiple industries. This partnership marks a major advancement in tackling worldwide industrial emissions and boosting decarbonization across various industrial sectors, such as pulp & paper, cement, steel, oil & gas, and more.

As per the terms of the non-exclusive MOU, Svante and Tenaska will combine their technologies and services to provide complete CCS value chain solutions to selected clients. Svante's cutting-edge solid sorbent carbon capture technology will facilitate efficient and sustainable CO2 capture, while Tenaska will provide regional planning along with the infrastructure for CO2 transport and storage. Tenaska is advancing a collection of mid- and early-stage projects in crucial regions across the United States and has filed Class VI permit applications for nearly 20 injection wells in multiple states.
