For smart city solutions, NECTI will be implementing smart city operations center, intelligent traffic management system, which will be integrated with AI-based video analytics and environmental and flood sensors. The project will be enabling integration of the smart city operations center with the existing systems like parking management system, geographic information system and intelligent transport management system.
NECTI’s smart city operation will be a booming brainchild for the cities’ operations during the emergency and disaster management, gathering and processing data from several sensors deployed in the smart city systems, assisting the KDMC with the making informed decisions at real-time events.
Using the video analytic features like automatic number plate recognition and red light violation, the intelligent traffic management system will be ensuring road discipline. The issuing of e-challans (electronic fines) to offenders for violating traffic rules will be sent through system where tabs on the traffic junctions for identifying traffic offenders and warning issues will be there.
