The article explores the role of AI in edutech space and why a deep collaboration between the start-up ecosystem, aca-demia and traditional player is of im-mense value to all.The Student is Not Alone Education and learning is rarely completely unaided, and therefore when we look at AI we need to look at it from the lens of the student, parent and the faculty as an ecosys-tem.There are four broad stages of adoption in the application of AI in education, and most firms are at an early phase in the journey below:-- Segmentation of students based on their learning and test taking be-haviour and therefore providing rel-evant actions through automation.- Decision tree based adaptive learning.- Deep learning where individual learning styles, motivation, attitudi-nal parameters are factored in deliv-ering personalized learning.- Reinforcement based learning to help weaker students improve them-selves.In all of the above areas we have to look at how the feedback loop is closed with the appropriate stake-TAakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) is associated with providing quality test preparatory services and has three distinct divisions, namely Aakash Institute for Medical, Aakash IIT-JEE for Engineering and Aakash Foundations for Secondary Classes.
