India is one of the world's biggest producers of pharmaceuticals, not just a global centre for generic medicines but a major biotechnology and life science research player. Digital health technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics and cloud based solutions are in the process of revolutionizing the industry with their adoption.
