Realizing its growth potential, we have focused on this market exclusively in this special issue. The cover story of this issue features Kepler Aerospace which is dedicated to small satellite development, defense systems design, manufacturing, and management. The start-up is the first private Indian firm to support operational ISRO satellites via its global Satcom network. Its software radios and secure data networks have allowed real-time telemetry and telecomm and operations via ISRO's Satcom command centers. All of its designs include built-in part replace capability, reducing its reliance on any single imported component. Also featuring in this issue is GalaxEye Space - a SpaceTech startup that provides customers with the earth observation dataset from space with the help of an advanced constellation of Earth Observation Satellites. The startup operates on a data-as-a-service model, providing Satellite Imagery Datasets and value-added services to serve geospatial analytics companies and infrastructure enterprises. This enables them to perform analytics on the data captured, thus deriving insights and making data driven decisions. The issue also covers N Space Tech which builds modular and small satellite technologies. While still new in this space, it has already made headway in creating CubeSats which can be launched with the help of a sounding rocket and can reach up to 100 kilometers. This enables stratospheric monitoring and also gets useful, vital data from the Ionosphere. In this special issue, CIOTechOutlook brings to you the list of 10 most promising startups that have made their mark in this domain with their technology acumen and industry expertise.
