With the fast-paced increase of global extreme temperature weather, the applicability of electricity-free cooling technology is becoming increasingly clear-cut. This technology has started showing opportunities in energy saving methods of efficient and innovative cooling designs for green buildings, industrials, as well as people's daily protection. Other projects include the application of electricity-free cooling technology, totalling more than 200 worldwide and covering an area of over 300,000 square metres.

i2Coating is the flagship product of i2Cool and stands out as an ideal sustainable cooling solution for buildings and outdoor equipment. It achieves a surface temperature reduction of as much as 42?C and a reduction in the energy costs of air conditioning of between 10 and 40 percent. i2Coating has also been successfully applied to global architectural landmarks, including the Dubai Mall and the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Marubeni representatives praised the simplicity and immediate effectiveness of the coating and stated that they are confident that it will grow in the market in the future. Thus, both parties agree to work together in promoting the global implementation of electricity-free cooling technology, especially in the Japanese market. The cooperation will also work on the development of next-generation marine coatings with higher solar reflection and infrared radiation for the ships to keep the temperatures and electricity consumption in the cabins low.
