Green Domus Desenvolvimento Sustentável LTDA, a renowned sustainability consultancy with experience assisting clients with the design and implementation of a variety of sustainability services with a focus on quantifiable decarbonization techniques, has announced its intention to be acquired by Accenture. To strengthen Accenture's team of Sustainability Services, Green Domus will join the company. The transaction's financial details are not being made public.

Clients across industries are looking for new and improved ways to hasten their net zero transitions because only 7% of global enterprises are on track to achieve their net zero ambitions by 2050.

Through extensive knowledge of sustainability frameworks like the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), voluntary carbon credits, and emerging regulatory schemes like the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism which just recently debuted in the EU, Green Domus will offer clients solutions to embed carbon data and insights into their decision-making.

“Green Domus’ approach to measuring carbon emissions data and Accenture’s suite of advanced sustainability services, such as our net zero transition solutions, will support our clients in building resilient futures,” said Matthew Govier, Latin America Sustainability Services lead for Accenture. “These services will continue to transform industries and build a path forward for unlocking growth and adopting more sustainable business models.”
