The first 5G enabled auto manufacturing unit in India has been established at Mahindra's Chakan manufacturing facility thanks to a strategic partnership between Bharti Airtel, India's leading communications solutions provider, and Tech Mahindra, a top provider of digital transformation, consulting, and business re-engineering solutions.

Chakan's network connectivity has been greatly increased thanks to the "5G for Business" solution, which has improved the speed of software flashing, a crucial process for all vehicle dispatches. Managers may now conduct numerous software flashing sessions concurrently thanks to lightning-fast speeds and extremely low latency, which has decreased the turnaround time for an operation. Additionally, the computerised vision-based examination is now entirely automated, improving the quality of the paint. In India, Airtel is driving the deployment of 5G. As part of its #5GforBusiness capabilities, the company has been testing use cases and spectrum distribution at several sites with a variety of partners.

Ajay Chitkara, Director and CEO of Airtel Business, commented on the collaboration, saying, "Our 5G solution for enterprise will alter manufacturing operations in the nation. To demonstrate this transition, we are happy to work with Tech Mahindra and Mahindra Auto. The Chakan manufacturing facility is now India's first 5G enabled auto manufacturing unit. Reliable data networks will show to be a crucial difference in factory & manufacturing performances as the industry 4.0 paradigm gains traction. This is just the beginning, and I'm confident that we'll present a tonne more creative use cases that will help reimagine Indian manufacturing.

A new age of connectivity, communication, and cooperation has begun thanks to the 5G roll-out, according to Manish Vyas, President, Communications, Media and Entertainment Business, and CEO, Network Services, at Tech Mahindra. Our partnership with Airtel aims to improve customer experience through cutting-edge platforms and solutions powered by technology. We are convinced that this alliance will open doors for improvement in efficiency, intelligent network-led enterprise digitalization, and innovation across industries.

Airtel's industry-leading integrated connectivity offering of #5GforBusiness, Tech Mahindra's expertise in the sector, and Factory's 5G enterprise solutions skills all work together to provide customers specific services. Enterprise customers will benefit from NXT's domain knowledge in planning, designing, deploying, and managing private wireless networks for businesses, and the adoption of game-changing network technologies like 5G in India would be accelerated. This relationship is in keeping with Tech Mahindra's NXT.NOWTM strategy, which focuses on investing in new technologies and solutions that enable digital transformation and cater to the changing demands of the consumer and aims to improve "Human Centric Experience."
