Through the deployment of enhanced high-speed internet connectivity across Central Indiana, Nokia and BerryComm, a leading fiber-optic broadband provider, have given thousands of homes and businesses access to cutting-edge services powered by Nokia's advanced optical networking technology that supports BerryComm's mission to provide reliable and high-capacity broadband services to the underserved communities.

 The expansion leverages Nokia's 1830 Photonic Service Switch with coherent optics, and Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer technologies for electric network scalability and reliability. With this deployment, BerryComm can keep control of its quality of service while cutting down its dependence on external carriers for everything from last-mile connectivity.

The enhanced network supports, besides residential customers, businesses with mission critical connectivity solutions that guarantee maximum uptime and operational efficiency. With this infrastructure, BerryComm can scale up to 100G and beyond fairly seamlessly as the demands for bandwidth continue to expand.
