BSNL in talks with Vodafone India for 4G Intra Circle Roaming pacts

For Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) pacts BSNL is in talks with Vodafone India which has been freshly rebranded as VI. And especially in Rajasthan, the two telcos are looking at bringing in ICR plans in two circles. And in a similar manner,  nation-wide arrangements for the ICR pacts will be brought as per the reports. 

 

Principal Scientific Advisor of the Empowered Technology Group, K Vijay Raghavan, is said to discuss BSNL’s plans to roll out 4G services. 

As BSNL could begin services from January 1, it hopes to generate revenue from the customers of metro cities by offering its mobile and landline services to users in Delhi and Mumbai. 

The Ministry of Communications made it mandatory for all Government departments, Ministries, and the central public sector to mandatorily use BSNL and MTNL networks for internet, broadband, landline and leased line connectivity.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Communications earlier this month has made it mandatory for all Ministries, Government departments and the central public sector to mandatorily use BSNL and MTNL landline, broadband, networks and leased line connectivity.
