CargoSmart Limited, a provider of shipment software solutions, announces three methods: Private Label Sailing Schedules; Schedule Delay Alerts; and introduction of sailing schedules mobile app to enable unrestricted schedule search, helping shippers and logistics service providers to plan in better way.

Addressing the challenges of shipment planning for 20 ocean carriers’ schedule with large number of schedule changes, CargoSmart’s new solutions enable customers to improve import and export shipment management with updated information and history insight.

The company analyzes global vessels as well as ocean carriers’ schedule to improve the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the sailing schedule data. It monitors route deviations, port operations, weather and vessel speeds to give high-quality sailing data for vessel schedule.

In private label scheduling, non vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) and forwarders can give ocean carriers’ sailing schedule through their own website. They can adjust the schedules to help shipper plan; customize schedule with shipping instructions cut-off times and container freight station closing times; and give special promotions to their customers.

Schedule Delay Alert solution notifies shippers and logistics service providers about schedule change from the time of booking confirmation till the arrival of package and help sailor plan cut-off dates, export customs filings and arrival pickup arrangements. The company also arranges new daily report that provides earlier shipment updates.

The company also facilitates the SSM and mobile apps for clients that allows unrestricted sailing schedule search for all ports and 28 ocean carriers' schedules. This app facilitates schedule reliability ranking for searching results. It also adds four-week performance trends for 20 carriers to improve planning after bookings.
