Castra is excited to announce a new collaboration with data firm for IT and security Cribl. Customers of Castra have the option of integrating Cribl Stream with Castra's managed detection and response solution to improve data-driven decision-making and lower
data storage expenses in complicated enterprise environments.
Teams now have more control over telemetry data thanks to Cribl Stream, which also provides them the freedom to watch, route, enrich, and analyze data at any point in the security lifecycle. Enterprises can swiftly ingest data and easily integrate it at scale using Cribl Stream, which optimizes log volumes, boosts visibility, and enhances downstream performance.
"Cribl is quite literally the platform I've wanted for over fifteen years," said Tony Simone, Castra co-founder. "We are all inundated with data going in a hundred different directions. Being able to bring it all together, route the right data to the right places, transform it, and archive it in a cost-effective way makes this system incredibly powerful – and that's just scratching the surface of what it can do."
Cribl will assist enterprise security teams in managing massive amounts of data more effectively as a Castra partner. However, cloud-native SIEM solutions are not the most economical way to store log, trace, and metric data. They do, however, offer quick data intake and query performance. Enterprises can replay high volume data on-demand with Cribl Stream's low-cost storage.
The end result is a quick, affordable method for controlling the flow of data throughout the company. In order to improve security outcomes while lowering inefficiencies and overhead costs, Castra and Cribl are actively collaborating to address the issues of routing, filtering, and enriching data in transit.
