In order to improve business operations and provide better patient and member experiences, Cognizant today announced an expansion of their long-standing healthcare collaboration with Microsoft. This will make cutting-edge technology solutions, streamlined claims management, and improved interoperability readily available to healthcare payers and providers.
Cognizant and Microsoft will collaborate to create an integration roadmap between TriZetto healthcare technologies from Cognizant and Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare as part of the expansion. Additionally, the businesses will work together to create and manage Cognizant's current and future healthcare SaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure, migrate new and current clients from on-premises environments to streamlined operations managed on the Microsoft Cloud, and support emerging technologies intended to deliver fresh insights for payers, providers, and consumers.
Microsoft and Cognizant work together on a range of healthcare provider and payer solutions, including interoperability and cost estimating suites in a SaaS environment. Cognizant is a recognised market leader in healthcare cloud-based administration. Consumers can more easily obtain historical healthcare data, review procedure costs for services, and compare pricing among providers thanks to this cooperative effort, enabling them to make knowledgeable healthcare decisions.
