Dandelion Energy, Palmetto Collaboration To Access Renewable Energy Solutions

Dandelion Energy, the nation's leading residential geothermal firm, and Palmetto, a clean energy technology company, announced a collaboration that would increase access to sustainable energy solutions by combining the complimentary powers of solar and geothermal energy. The collaboration will begin with a pilot program with Palmetto in Massachusetts, where Dandelion will expand services in 2022.
 
When geothermal and solar energy are combined, homes can reduce consumption while increasing renewable generation, allowing them to become energy independent. The potential of geothermal energy and solar power combined is even more personal for homeowners, cutting their monthly energy bills, avoiding environmental harm, and improving long-term house value for a buying cohort more concerned with energy efficiency.
 
The Dandelion Energy home geothermal system replaces a home's existing air conditioning and heating equipment with a powerful heat pump and safe and underground pipes that move heat between the earth and the home.  Meanwhile, installing a rooftop solar photovoltaic system unlocks the other half of the puzzle by generating the electricity needed to give homeowners true energy independence, as per Dandelion energy.
