With TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION and DENSO CORPORATION, Electreon has agreed to collaboratively develop an advanced wireless car kit, or vehicle receiver, using their respective technologies and expertise. The agreement was reached after a fruitful in-depth technology evaluation that TOYOTA and DENSO technical teams took part in at the Electreon headquarters in Beit Yanai, Israel. A demonstration of the RAV4-PHEV charging on the wireless road was held at the conclusion of the evaluation.

The following joint activities are planned by the parties to advance the technical advancement and uptake of wireless charging technology: co-development of an aftermarket wireless kit for current electrified vehicles to take advantage of wireless charging technology right away; integration of the wireless technology into new vehicles released to the market; collaboration to shape the standardisation of wireless EV charging; collaborative promotion of a joint pilot project in Japan, the U.S., or another country.

As many customers as possible will receive alternatives and solutions from TOYOTA to help the globe transition to a carbon-neutral civilization. Toyota is hoping that one of the answers to the problems with electric vehicles will be the development of dynamic wireless charging technology. It might not only make charging easier, but it might also lessen the size of the battery needed for an EV or increase the corresponding driving distance. Also, by helping to more uniformly distribute power demand, this technology may lessen grid strain and make it simpler to integrate renewable energy sources.

By working towards zero CO2 emissions during production, reducing emissions from mobility products by assisting in the electrification of automobiles, and reaching zero CO2 emissions during regular energy usage, DENSO is dedicated to achieving a carbon-neutral society. With a global footprint and a tier 1 manufacturing facility for automotive components, DENSO places a high value on using cutting-edge technology to offer solutions. Electreon's level of creativity and technological maturity has significantly pleased DENSO, and it has become clear that working with them will help it achieve its goal of building a more efficient and sustainable future. The business is eager to advance wireless charging by fusing its know-how with Electreon's cutting-edge technology.

"We are honored to partner with TOYOTA and DENSO — two of the leading and most respected companies in the global automotive industry, to provide an overall game-changing solution with Electreon's technology," said Oren Ezer, CEO and Co-founder of Electreon. "This partnership will make wireless charging accessible to a diverse and wide range of drivers and will demonstrate the many benefits of wireless charging as a cost-effective clean solution for charging EVs as well as a catalyst in reducing EVs' carbon footprint."

The Parties will sign a thorough joint development agreement for all of the above-mentioned cooperative initiatives in the coming months.

By offering a convenient and effective method for charging EVs, this joint research is predicted to transform the automotive sector. The partnership between Electreon, TOYOTA, and DENSO is evidence of their dedication to advancing technology and giving their clients cutting-edge solutions.
