Today, i.e. November 16, EY India announced its acquisition of Spotmentor Technologies, which is an AI-enabled upskilling and reskilling platform. The amounts remained undisclosed though.
Spotmentor, an end-to-end skilling platform, helps businesses in identification of skills required for future of work, upskilling and reskilling talent at scale.
Leveraging emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning, it helps in bridging the critical competency gaps in an organization.
A statement released, said, “Our priority remains in enablement clients with tools and resources for helping them in adapting to rapid changes, and navigating market disrupts in the new normal,” said Rohan Sachdev, Partner and Consulting Leader, EY India.
EY’s acquisition of Spotmentor Technologies boost digital offerings, which combines strengths in strategic people consulting, and seasoned experience in learning and skills development.
EY Spotmentor, with its software-as-a-service based skills, learning and careers platform, delivers 360-degree skills industry benchmarking, for helping creation of successful profiles and real-time identification and closure of skill gaps.
It is further designed to deliver easy access to quality content, curated learning plans and a real-time skill inventory health index.
Anurag Malik, Partner – People Advisory Services, EY India, said, “In the previous two eyars, the company collaborated with Spotmentor Technologies Team, for equipping the clientele with right skillsets, from which they benefitted immensely.”
Founded by Deepak Singh, Arpit Goyal, Shekhar Suman and Yash Pal Mittal in 2016 in Gurugram, Spotmentor Technologies focuses on large enterprises, government and industry bodies. In 2019, EY India acquired C Centric (CRM solutions and services provider) and in 2018, it acquired Fortune Cookie UX Design.
