The organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panels from Samsung Display will be used in next car models, according to a statement released by Italian supercar manufacturer Ferrari.
According to a statement from Chief Executive Benedetto Vigna, the South Korean company would create "bespoke OLED technology display solutions" for the following generation of Ferraris.
In Asan, South Korea, the leaders of Ferrari and Samsung Display signed a memorandum of cooperation that contained no financial information.
Vigna previously stated that Ferrari would employ outside suppliers for non-essential parts or software because the company is concentrating money on electrification.
In 2025, Ferrari intends to debut its first all-electric vehicle.
A division of Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display intends to invest more than $3 billion in the production of OLED panels in Asan.
