Leading global IT company HCLTech and Google Cloud have announced the development of their strategic collaboration to support businesses in utilising generative artificial intelligence (AI) and creating joint solutions utilising generative AI technologies from Google Cloud.

To create generative AI capabilities for its clients across three key domains—industries, enterprise functions, innovation, and technology modernization—HCLTech is aggressively using Google Cloud's large language models (LLMs). The whole range of enterprise generative AI products and services offered by Google Cloud, including Vertex AI, Generative AI Studio, Model Garden, and Generative AI App Builder, as well as the underlying LLMs that drive these Google Cloud AI advancements, will be incorporated into HCLTech's AI platforms and solutions.

To help clients realise the full potential of generative AI and uncover the value of their data, HCLTech will build a Google Cloud Generative AI Centre of Excellence (GenAI CoE). The HCLTech Cloud Native Labs in London, Dallas, and Noida (India) have AI expertise that the GenAI CoE will tap from.

Additionally, HCLSoftware, a leader in corporate software solutions globally, wants to speed up its own digital transformation by implementing Vertex AI to enhance customer success and customer support for its clients as well as Google Workspace, Duet AI for Google Workspace and Developers.

“Generative AI will usher in a new era of innovation across industries. This presents an opportunity for enterprises to double down on digital transformation. I am excited about expanding our partnership with Google Cloud to help enterprises accelerate responsible adoption of GenAI,” said Kalyan Kumar, Chief Technology Officer and Head, Ecosystems, HCLTech.
