HCLTech Partners with ChargePoint to Enhance EV Charging Software

IT services firm HCL Technologies (HCLTech) declared a partnership with ChargePoint, a company that offers networked charging solutions for electric vehicles, to promote advancements in EV charging software.

The center, launched on Thursday by executives from both firms, will act as a central hub for ChargePoint's software development initiatives in India. It seeks to utilize HCLTech's engineering expertise through an agile, product-centric operating model, assisting ChargePoint in providing scalable and customizable EV charging solutions.

As per a statement, HCLTech has established an advanced research and development center for ChargePoint in Bengaluru.  HCLTech employing more than 220,000 employees in 60 countries and offering expertise solutions in cloud, digital, engineering and AI services. The company collaborates with clients across multiple sectors, such as financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, and others.
