Narendra ModiDuring the complex scenario of pandemic, Indian IT industry’s code made things happening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
 
In the past, Indian IT could not take benefit of domestic chance and digital divide kept widening, the Prime Minister also said. The PM was speaking to the NASSCOM Technology and Leadership Forum. 
 
In a manner, policies regarding mapping & geospatial data have been liberalised for the industry. This step will empower our tech start-up, eco-system & further mission of  Aatma Nirbhar Bharat. 
 
Our heavily cash dependant society is now altering into a cashless economy, the PM also said. 
 
There was a time when we were reliant on other countries for smallpox vaccines. Today we are providing other countries with Made in India vaccines to fight the pandemic. 
 
In order to make India the global technological chief, we have to create world class products that are Made in India for the world, the PM also said. Our government is working towards minimum government and maximum governance with its new policies, PM Modi also said. 
 
The PM added that the enhancement in digital technologies has reduced black money problems. In a short period of time, we have shifted from being a cash economy to a less cash economy. 
 
The startup founders should give a thought how they can create institutions and not focus on valuations alone. India is not short of innovative ideas. It needs experts to guide the  ideas and make it possible, the PM also said.
