India Denies China's Huawei, ZTE for 5G trials

The relation between India and China due the border clashes has been worsening day by day. And, due to this, India has denied China's ZTE Corp and Huawei Technologies CO from entering 5G trials and networks.

As told to Bloomberg, this decision is expected to be announced in a week or two after it has been approved by the Prime Minister’s Office. 

Also, proscribing bidders for sensitive projects from nations India shares land borders with, the Ministry of Communications will implement a government notification which was issued on July 23 this year. 

According to a report, the amended investment rules stated in the notification are enforced by the government in view of national security.

The discussions regarding the approvals for 5G trails are pending and will be recommenced by the ministry with private companies that will include Bharti Airtel Ltd, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd and Vodafone Idea. 

This decision has also been made as other countries such as the US, UK and Australia have also shown a red flag towards Chinese government.

Also, the US Federal Commission has also announced that both these aforementioned companies are a vital threat to national security. 

This permission denial has been initiated due to the Galwan incident, as earlier India had granted permission to participate in its 5G trials for Huawei.  This incident led to the killing of 20 Indian Armies. However, there were casualties on the other side as well.
