Infosys has secured a multi-year
digital transformation agreement with Denmark-based STARK Group, a business-to-business (B2B) building supplies distributor. The transition will also include the use of Infosys' Topaz artificial intelligence (AI) portfolio of services. The deal's size and duration were not made public. As part of this partnership, Infosys and STARK Group will create a data center in Denmark to serve as the cornerstone for driving technological breakthroughs in the collaboration and providing services to STARK Group's locations around Europe.
Infosys will use a "AI first" approach through Topaz to assist STARK Group with AI-driven operational efficiencies and service quality. The Bengaluru-based firm will also attempt to help STARK Group enhance cost and operational efficiency, as well as scale across several geographies.
“We at STARK Group are excited to announce our collaboration with Infosys as we embark on a transformation journey to deliver state-of-the-art and future-fit IT services to our colleagues in the Nordics, Austria, Germany and UK. With Infosys' expertise, we look forward to enhancing the quality of our offerings and kickstarting many new innovations," said Pernille Geneser, group chief information officer at STARK Group,
Infosys established a strategic relationship with Danske Bank in June to enable the bank's digital transformation, which takes Infosys' localization strategy in the Nordics even further. Previously, Infosys purchased BASE Life Science in Denmark and Fluido in Finland. This collaboration with STARK Group strengthens Infosys' foothold in the Nordics.
