KSSL partners with L3Harris to Propel Defense Technology in India

Kalyani Key Frameworks Restricted (KSSL), a subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited, has signed a  MoU with L3Harris Technologies with an aim to enhance collaboration in advanced defense and security systems in India. In these 2 years - agreement, the organizations will develop solutions together in Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technologies.

 “This MoU lays the groundwork for deeper cooperation in India, where the combined expertise of L3Harris and KSSL will contribute to national security advancements,” said Dave Johnson, Vice President, International, L3Harris. “We are eager to accelerate the deployment of advanced tactical communication systems to the Indian Armed Forces.”

The agreement aligns with the U.S.-India Defense Industrial Cooperation framework, promoting the development of next-generation defense technologies. Neelesh Tungar, President & CEO of KSSL, highlighted the strategic significance of the partnership: “This collaboration enhances our ability to rapidly deliver sophisticated defense solutions to the Indian military, addressing evolving warfare needs and supporting joint ISR capabilities.”

This partnership will strengthen the presence of L3Harris in India leveraging KSSL’s local expertise for supporting the development of tactical communications networks.  Beyond India, the partnership aims to establish resilient supply chains for meeting global defense requirements.
