After revealing that it will debut its brand-new modular energy storage technology, KULR ONE, at CES 2023 coming January 5-8, the firm announced its partnership with Theory. The KULR ONE series of next-generation battery packs offers the most demanding applications in the world a mix of security, performance, intelligence, modularity, and durability.
“Collaborating with a leader in the mountain bike racing space, like Theory Racing, is a natural progression in KULR’s vision to support the global electrification movement,” said KULR’s CEO and co-founder
“Working alongside Director Nic Bean and the Theory Racing team is a terrific opportunity for us to expand into high-volume consumer applications as we evolve our NASA-proven battery safety technology to better service the e-bike industry," he added.
Safe battery solutions are becoming more and more necessary as the micro-mobility category grows more common, particularly for e-bikes. Through this relationship, KULR is able to enhance its in-depth knowledge of thermal management by fusing cutting-edge technology with high-performance e-bikes. General urban transportation, e-mobility sports, and food and product delivery are just a few of the ever-expanding industries that KULR's technical progress in the e-bike field has the potential to serve and revolutionise.
The global market for battery management systems is anticipated to reach US$35.14 billion by 2030, increasing at a CAGR of 21.22% from 2022 to 2030, according to Precedence Research.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with KULR Technology. We are confident that by combining our expertise and resources, we will be able to write the next chapter in performance e-bike battery systems and help take the power, safety, and efficiency of e-bike batteries to new heights,” said Theory Racing Director, Nic Bean.
“In addition, KULR’s sponsorship of the Theory Global Enduro program highlights their dedication to the sport and their focus on stress testing products at the highest levels. We can't wait to see what the future holds for this exciting partnership," Bean added.
At the World Cup Enduro Tour, an international competition to display the newest top mountain bike riders, KULR will be Theory's main sponsor. Top riders like Julie Duvert and Carter Krasney, who have demonstrated their ability to compete at the pinnacle of the sport worldwide, are members of the Theory Global Enduro Program, a World Cup Enduro squad. The assistance of KULR will help the Theory team reach new heights while electrifying their transportation system.
At booth #6357 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Theory will also be on hand to promote KULR's new commercial product releases at CES 2023, which runs from January 5 to 8.
