Tata Consultancy Services announced earlier this week that it has been chosen to transform Lexmark's enterprise applications, cloud journey, and
innovation programme.
TCS is moving Lexmark's workloads to the public cloud as part of the association and designing a cloud operating model based on automation and infrastructure-as-code. TCS stated that the digital core is being developed to improve user experience across finance, order to cash, and supply chain functions.
TCS will also create a command centre to track business processes across applications, data, infrastructure, and networks.
The company will assist Lexmark in bringing its Optra platform, which connects IoT device data to core business systems, to manufacturing and retail clients worldwide.
According to Vishal Gupta, Lexmark's Chief Information and Technology Officer, "our partnership with TCS will help us build an integrated operations model embracing technologies such as cloud and automation, enhancing our business agility, user and customer experience, and productivity."
TCS' Agile Innovation Cloud will enable sustained ideation and innovation aligned to Lexmark's growth and transformation imperatives, TCS Global Head for Technology, Software, and Services Business Group V Rajanna said.
