NVIDIA announced new collaborations aimed at revolutionizing the $10 trillion healthcare and life sciences sector by speeding up drug discovery, improving genomic research, and leading cutting-edge healthcare services through agentic and generative AI. The combination of AI, fast computing, and biological data is transforming healthcare into the biggest technology sector.
Healthcare leaders IQVIA, Illumina, and Mayo Clinic, along with Arc Institute, are employing cutting-edge NVIDIA technologies to create solutions aimed at improving human health.
These solutions consist of AI agents that expedite clinical trials by lessening administrative tasks, AI models that gain insights from biological instruments to enhance drug discovery and digital pathology, and physical AI robots designed for surgery, patient monitoring, and operational tasks. AI agents, AI tools, and AI robots will assist in managing the $3 trillion allocated for operational support of industry expansion, generating an AI factory potential worth hundreds of billions of dollars.
“AI offers an exceptional opportunity to advance healthcare and life sciences with tools that help providers detect diseases earlier and discover new treatments faster,” said Kimberly Powell, vice president of healthcare at NVIDIA. “The combination of NVIDIA’s AI and accelerated computing capabilities with the expertise of industry leaders is poised to usher in a new era of medical and biological innovation and improve patient outcomes worldwide.”
