PDI Technologies buys Blue Cow Software to expand and strengthen home heat offerings

The backbone of the convenience retail and petroleum wholesale ecosystem, PDI Technologies, a global pioneer in delivering potent solutions and insights, has acquired Blue Cow Software, LLC, a company that makes software for managing fuel oil and propane. Blue Cow Software will sell its stake in Repay Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: RPAY), a top supplier of vertically integrated payment systems, as a result of this transaction.
 
The Middleton, Massachusetts-based Blue Cow Software is a well-known market leader among propane and heating oil merchants, serving about 375 clients throughout North America. Among other improvements, the comprehensive features it provides include fuel and service ordering, delivery route optimization & wireless communication with field personnel, analytics specialised to fuel oil & propane, and customer relationship management & accounting.

Current Blue Cow Software clients will still receive service from PDI as a result of the transaction. PDI will also start providing Blue Cow Software solutions to both current and potential PDI home heat customers.

In relation to the deal, PDI and REPAY received financial advice from Berenson & Company and Barclays, respectively.
