Qualcomm Joins Jacoti To Boost True Wireless Earbuds Experience

Today, Qualcomm announced that it has collaborated with the audio technology company Jacoti for bringing its hearing enhancement software to the Qualcomm QCC5100 Series ultra-low power Bluetooth system on chip (SoC).

As per the company, the available true wireless earbuds and Bluetooth headsets, integration adds accessible, accurate personalized hearing assistance with additionally safe features.

James Chapman, VP & GM, Voice-Music-Wearable, Qualcomm Technologies International, said, “For our customers, who are competing in a rapidly changing and crowded market, exciting technologies like this will provide a really interesting way to differentiate and enrich the end user experience."

With a self-administered hearing test, Jacoti’s technology prompts various tones and frequencies for establishing volume thresholds for the user’s hearing level.

Prevention of the user from sound exposure which causes hearing damage, the software on the device also prevents that with clear, safe and pleasurable listening experience.
