Reliance Jio partnered with OnePlus to bring 'True 5G' tech ecosystem to India

To introduce the evolving standalone 5G technology ecosystem in the nation, Reliance Jio worked with the leading global technology company OnePlus.

All of the OnePlus 5G handsets will be powered by Jio's "True 5G" technology as part of the partnership.

The Jio and OnePlus teams have been aggressively collaborating behind the scenes to enhance their 5G technology offerings throughout the product portfolio and increase user access to the technology.

"Only a True 5G network, like Jio, which is designed as a Standalone 5G network and is the most sophisticated network of its kind, can unleash the true power of a 5G smartphone. On a high-end gadget like the OnePlus, Jio True 5G would offer hundreds of new and powerful experiences "President of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. Sunil Dutt remarked.

The most recent OnePlus 10 Series, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8 Series, as well as the Nord, Nord 2T, Nord 2, Nord CE, Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2 Lite, are OnePlus devices that can access the Jio True 5G network.

Similarly, according to the firm, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9RT will soon have access to Jio's True 5G network.

Users will benefit from a seamless, quick internet experience thanks to 5G technology, and they will use their devices more frequently than they ever thought possible, according to OnePlus India CEO and Head of India region Navnit Nakra.

Customers can receive cashback advantages worth Rs 10,800 during the OnePlus anniversary sale period from December 13 to December 18, which is available to qualified OnePlus and Jio 5G users.

In India, OnePlus was the market leader for 5G smartphones in both the Rs 20,000–Rs 30,000 pricing range and the budget luxury sector (Rs 30,000–Rs 45,000).
