SSC GD Constable Preparation Strategy for 3 MonthsStudents aspiring to land a government job in the general duty force have to sit for the SSC GD Constable Exam. Notice regarding the scheduling of SSC GD Constable 2021 is expected soon. After clearing the SSC GD Constable 2021 exam, one can get posted as GD Constables in BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB, NIA or National Investigation Agency, etc. The exam will take place in three phases, a candidate is required to clear each phase in order to proceed to the next one. The first step is the Computer Based Exam (CBE). Which is followed by the Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Endurance Test (PET). The third Phase is Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Once a candidate successfully clears this, then document verification is done.

SSC GD Constable 2021: Exam Pattern

The Computer Based Exam (CBE) consists of four sections, namely:

  3. General Awareness
  4. English/ Hindi language

Note: 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks is deducted for every incorrect answer. All questions will be of class 10th level.

Once the candidate clears the CBE, they have to undertake SSC GD Constable PET & PST which test their physical strength and endurance.

SSC GD preparation things to keep in mind:

Tests

  • After each week, on every Sunday (or whichever day that suits you), take tests of the topics that you’ve studied in the week from each section of 25 marks each.
  • This means 4 tests per week
  • Time your tests
  • Give marks - +1 for each right answer and -0.25 for every wrong answer just like you would get in SSC GD Constable 2021.

Tracking

  • Keep a note of the marks you have scored in each test, separately for each section
  • At the end of each month, notice the topics that you have scored the least in. You need to work more on these topics.
  • Substitute these topics in the chart above for the subsequent months and practice them.

Previous-Year Papers

  • Once you have completed your syllabus, dig out the previous year papers of the past 10 years of SSC GD Constable.
  • For the next one week, solve 2-3 papers per day and mark yourself
  • Point out the sections and topics in which you have scored less
  • Revise and practice more of that
