STL, which is a renowned integrator of digital networks, launched STL Garv, for rural digital platform. Garv will work in bridging the digital division of Indian villages. The successful launch was completed at a power-packed virtual event by Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog.
In the last 75 years, India took the first half of its population online and in the following ten years, STL is set to connect the second half. For unlocking the rural growth, connectivity is to be supplemented with powerful rural digital applications, for transforming the rural lives towards betterment. STL Garv is famous for doing that.
STL Garv utilizes BharatNet connectivity and aspires for transforming rural lives and usher in growth and prosperity in the rural Indian regions. For instilling a sense of equality in the people of rural India, STL Garv is designed and it provides prowess to the rural Indian communities through meaningful digital services like Telemedicine, e-tutoring, government to citizen services and assisted e-commerce.
Started designing Garv in 2018, STL today is piloting in 11 villages, touching 54K+ lives in Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. Services by STL Garv are customized for helping people in the challenging times of the pandemic equivalents. STL Garv is contributing to PM Shri Narendra Modi’s Digital India movement, and it has information access without any barrier.
Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, at the event launched STL Garv, and talking about STL Garv, Amitabh said, “By transforming the people lives, we transform the nation. And India is actually witnessing digital disruption in the fields of digital payments, e-education, e-healthcare, and from this, technology development will get accelerated, especially in the rural Indian regions. Amidst transforming rural lives, STL Garv will bring the technology revolution to rural India. STL Garv’s launch excites me and I wish STL a successful journey enriched with the empowerment of the rural Indian regions.”
