TapFin and IIT Bombay Partner to foster innovation in EV technologies

TapFin, a sustainable technology platform, recently declared the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the EV Powertrain Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). The team will work together to tackle problems with EV financing and develop creative solutions to make owning electric vehicles easier. They will also explore new, financially successful and sustainable uses for electric vehicles.

In a press release, TapFin and IIT Bombay stated that their partnership is intended to establish a lively environment that connects academia and industry through promoting knowledge sharing, collaborating on research, and enhancing industry-specific skills.

According to the MoU, TapFin and IIT Bombay will work together on combined research and knowledge sharing in the electric vehicle industry, with an emphasis on developing solutions ready for use in the market. The collaboration will provide students at IIT Bombay with greater access to current industry trends and challenges, allowing them to engage in practical projects that meet industry demands, as stated.

On the flip side, TapFin will use IIT Bombay's academic knowledge to enhance its advancements and offerings for businesses involved in the electric vehicle sector. TapFin will be involved in IIT Bombay's EV Career Day, giving students a chance to experience industry challenges and job opportunities, the company announced.
