One of the leading automaker in India, Tata Motors, in collaboration with Avanti Fellow NGO, is set to conduct the special coaching classes and grooming sessions for the unprivileged students and prepare them for NEET, IIT JEE Mains, and IIT JEE Advanced competitive examinations. 43 students this year were skilled from this programme that has succeeded to win the IIT JEE Mains round, and 27 students qualified the IIT JEE Advanced. The JNV Puducherry has emerged as the leading center with 89+ percent and 100 percent success in IIT JEE Advanced JEE Mains respectively.

The programmes were conducted at JNV centres in India for students of class 11th and 12th, where the programme aims to identify, nurture and enable young minds, with a penchant for science and technology, and achieve their career aspirations. In the previous years, the graduates of this programme have featured in the top 500 on the IIT Joint Entrance Examination list and achieved full-time scholarships at the world’s best universities.

This phenomenal achievement has been attributed to the unique peer-to-peer learning approach along with focused on preparation from skilled mentors for helping students understand better and learn the concepts and instill smarter problem solving with confidence. The programme delivered success which has motivated the students to work harder and pursue their dreams with hope, perseverance and hard work.

Amidst the on-going pandemic, this programme is presently operational virtually and coaching is presently imparted through online medium, maintaining the safety measures for the students. 212+ students from 41 schools nationally are registered for attending the online classes.

With the encouraging NEET results in recent times, the JNV Palghar programme is supported by TML, where 23 students appeared for NEET, from which 22 students qualified the examination, with 95 percent selection rate.

“Tata Motors firmly believes that quality education is the cornerstone of nation-building and has therefore committed to ensuring a conducive learning environment for disadvantaged students across India. Through our programmes, we aim to accelerate the career aspirations of talented young individuals with limited resources, who will further contribute to moving the nation forward. Moreover, Tata Motors also facilitates financial aid for the well-performing and high-potential students, and inspire them for performing better. Students’ average score has increased by 20 percent with 44+ percent students securing 60+ percent marks in their class X half yearly examination.
