Tech Mahindra, reported that it has finished the securing of a 100 percent stake in
Orchid Cybertech Administrations (OCSI) through its entirely possessed auxiliary for a sum of $3.27 million.
"We wish to inform that the company through its wholly owned subsidiary viz., Customer Philippines Inc has approved the acquisition of 100 percent equity shares in Orchid Cybertech Services," Tech Mahindra said in a regulatory filing.
Orchid Cybertech Services, a provider of customer experience solutions, serves TPG Telecom with a workforce comprising approximately 2,950 full-time employees, as per livemint.
For the financial year finishing on July 31, 2023, the organization revealed a turnover of $37.3 million. Tech Mahindra emphasized its long-standing partnership with TPG Telecom in its filing. The securing of Orchid Cybertech Administrations (OCSI) is supposed to reinforce this relationship, working with consistent advances and gradual income open doors.
Under this arrangement, OCSI, alongside its resources and staff, will incorporate into Tech Mahindra, expanding client care and related administrations to TPG.
"This deal further strengthens the relationship with TPG and aids in expanding existing customer experience capabilities and business in the Philippines," it said.
