The Telangana government inked a memorandum of understanding with Bengaluru-based AI & Analytics platform 3AI, with the goal of establishing Hyderabad and Telangana as a global hub for IT and
AI development and innovation.
A major focus area of the MoU is also the building of a community of AI and Analytics leaders from various enterprises and
tech-service firms and local startups, as well as showcasing initiatives from the ITE&C (Information Technology, Electronics & Communications) and the Emerging Technologies Wing, as per economic times.
The agreement will assist in curating and hosting leadership roundtables and events focused on AI innovation and progress, as well as expanding 3AI platforms for fostering thought leadership and mindshare.
Jayesh Ranjan, Telangana's Principal Secretary of Information Technology (IT) and Industries and Commerce (I&C), stated that the agreement would establish a new community of AI professionals and help the state to implement
AI technologies.
“Telangana has become the pioneer across the country for adopting and implementing exponential technology in governance,” he said.
AI CEO Sameer Dhanrajani stated that the organization, with its extensive forum and outreach to over 950 AI and analytics professionals, would collaborate closely with the Emerging Technology Wing to create a leader-focused ecosystem. “AI has become core to businesses, society and government at large.
