Telefónica Tech and IBM declared another partnership agreement to drive the deployment of
Artificial Intelligence (AI), analytics and data governance arrangements and answer to the constant and progressively developing necessities of ventures. The agreement, which was initially limited to Spain, establishes a framework for collaboration between the two businesses to help their customers deal with the complexity of managing
new technologies in an ever-changing, heterogeneous environment and to extract the full value of these technologies in their business processes.
As per findings in IBM Worldwide artificial intelligence Index study, close to half of the organizations in Spain that are now working with AI claim that they have sped up their funding in this innovation over the last two years. This features the need to furnish the business landscape with devices and solutions that drive their
digital transformation journeys, in which AI plays a prominent role.
The businesses will collaborate on the creation of an open, hybrid, and multi-cloud platform that focuses on data management and artificial intelligence to facilitate and accelerate customer business initiatives, a use case office, MVP demonstrations, and the implementation of resources, training, and certifications.
Elena Gil Lizasoain, director of the Artificial Intelligence and Data business unit at Telefónica Tech, said: "This new collaboration with IBM will help drive the many benefits of Artificial Intelligence, traditional and generative, and proper data management in the business world. By combining the knowledge of both teams, we will continue to advance in the construction of use cases aimed at creating more efficient and sustainable businesses."
