uLektz and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Delivers Video Communications for Online Learning Classes

An education technology Software-as-a-Service provider, uLektz, on 11th November, 2020 announced the launching of uLektzMeet.com. It is a live online lecturing platform in partnership with Alcate-Lucent Enterprise, which is a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions, customized for customers’ industries.

This platform, addressing to the growing requirement of an engaging virtual classroom, where India advances its digital economy, uLektz Meet launched is one of the products of uLektz Suite featuring software applications, which are seamlessly integrated and provide one-stop solution to the higher education sector.

Designed exclusively for providing an interactive and engaging online education experience, uLektz Meet is a platform offering easy integration, where learning management systems (LMSs) are integrated, providing several education-centric features and functionalities like single-click invites for an entire class, automated students attendance marking, lectures recording, storage and access through an eLibrary, group chat, file and screen sharing, and hand raise functions.

uLektz Meet can be accessed through laptops, desktops and smartphones using the web-browser, where no software download is required. It can also be accessed where there is low internet bandwidth and uLektz Meet mobile application is available in Android devices.

uLektz Meet offers two editions – Basic Edition, which is free for a lifetime, and Premium Edition, for Rs 300 per host per month. Both the editions are carry same set of features and functionalities, however, the exception is the number of participants in a meeting.

The free Basic Edition, which is a host/teacher conducted online class (meeting), can have a maximum of three participants/students. The paid Premium Edition, which is conducted by a host/teacher, can include a maximum of 120 participants/students.
