Thierry Delaporte, the CEO of Wipro is searching for junior employees to take suggestions on the areas of digital technology. Wipro is now focused on grabbing digital deals, as Delaporte is searching for suggestions from junior employees that are digitally savvy for reviving Wipro’s growth.
Wipro said, "This shows a sign of change as Delaporte wants to get the pulse from across all levels.” It added that the interactions by Delaporte cover small groups, where he opines on the observations and thoughts, which are not related to aspirations or expectations.
Wipro Spokesperson said, "Delaporte has also taken these opportunities to thank employees for their exceptional resolve and resilience in ensuring seamless business continuity and maintaining high standards of service to our clients in these difficult times.”
Delaporte became Wipro CEO in July. While taking over, he wrote to his employees that he planned of spending time with senior leaders and teams across units and functions for taking a holistic view and for understanding the opportunities and challenges of the company.
As per analysts, Delaporte’s action for taking employee suggestions means he wants to listen to the employees directly. Delaporte will continue to conduct these conversations frequently with colleagues in different parts of the Wipro branches at all levels.
