The IT services provider company, Wipro will be helping Nokia in managing its supply chain in a more efficient way and also in driving the digitalization of sales order operations as per the multi-year business process services deal. At present, Nokia is aiming to transform its supply chain and sales order management with respect to the latest technologies like IoT and 5G.
Wipro will manage the design, digitalize and run sales order management operations of Nokia from multiple locations in the world. Wipro will apply robotic process automation (RPA) to enable hyper-automated supply chain for the company, which will be leaner, agile and have the flexibility to meet the customer’s challenges in the future. Wipro is going to use cognitive algorithm and bots to automate the sales order management processes, reduce cycle time, handle the sales volume fluctuations and monitor operations in real time, therefore increasing accuracy and confirmation in all transactions.

Nokia had been searching for a partner to support the digital transformation of its supply chain while maintaining the business continuity and operational excellence. Wipro was selected, after a long thorough assessment of company’s capabilities to deliver innovative solutions and run complex operations, said Christian Froster, Vice President - Delivery Operations at Nokia. “Nokia has a great bond with Wipro; we selected them for their understanding of the industry and in-depth experience in executing large-scale digital transformation projects,” he said.
