Accenture Acquires Strongbow Consulting Expands Technology Strategy Capabilities

Strongbow Consulting, a data-driven strategic advising company with extensive experience assisting enterprises with the planning and execution of technological transformation initiatives while minimizing risk and optimizing cost savings, has been bought by Accenture. A team of about 60 experts from Strongbow Consulting will join Accenture's Technology Strategy & Advisory practice, bringing with them the ability to modernize and optimize businesses' IT infrastructure while successfully bridging the gap between old and new technology through large-scale change programs. The deal's financial details weren't made public.
 
Strongbow Consulting will be an essential part of Accenture Technology Strategy & Advisory in North America, forming the heart of its Tech Value business, which was established when Advocate joined last year. Strongbow Consulting has a long history of generating effective solutions for international enterprises. Strongbow Consulting's ability to identify and unlock savings to pay for modernization and innovation programs will aid Accenture in expanding its Technology Business Management (TBM) solutions. 
 
With the support of this new capability and Advocate's capabilities in TEM, FinOps-as-a-service, and TBM/TBM-as-a-service (TBMaaS), Accenture can provide businesses with a comprehensive lifecycle management solution that will help them get a much better return on their technological investments.
