Accenture and Einr AS have reached an agreement for Einr AS to be acquired by Accenture. Einr AS is a Norwegian business consulting firm that specialises in high volume logistics solutions leveraging SAP® technologies to streamline the movement of goods from producers to consumers. Accenture's SAP skills will be further strengthened by the purchase, accelerating supply chain innovation for businesses in the consumer electronics and retail sectors. The deal's financial details weren't made public.
Einr, a company that was founded in 2015, is based in Oslo, Norway. 42 of its workers will join Accenture SAP Business Group in the Nordics after the transaction is complete. Employees from Einr will strengthen Accenture's SAP services in the market with their specialised skills in retail and supply chain management, transportation management, warehouse management, and assortment planning.
