The TELUS Cloud Security Posture Management service is now available in Canada thanks to a partnership between Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a top global supplier of cybersecurity solutions, and TELUS, a provider of communications technology. TELUS CSPM offers a complete managed solution for Canadian organisations to monitor cloud security posture in real-time and discover, correct, and report on vulnerabilities. It is supported by Check Point's AI-powered threat prevention and high fidelity posture management technologies.
"At Check Point, we believe that cybersecurity starts with prevention. We’re proud to partner with TELUS, a company leading the way in developing best-in-class security, to provide organizations across Canada with proactive real-time monitoring security solutions leveraging the latest AI-powered threat intelligence so they stay one step ahead of potential threats, prevent attacks and keep their networks and data safe,” said Ron Dekker, Canadian Country Manager, Check Point Software Technologies.
Cyberattacks on cloud-based networks increased 48% globally in 2022, and as cloud use rises, it will become a more profitable target for cybercriminals who are developing more complex means of breaking into corporate networks. The average Canadian organization's cloud environment is attacked more than 100 times a year, nearly 70% of organisations experience at least one attack per month, and one in ten organisations are targeted at least once or more per day, according to the 2023 TELUS Canadian Cloud Security Study.
The fully managed TELUS CSPM will provide organizations with the tools and knowledge they need to protect their data and systems in this evolving landscape as they transition towards a digital-first workplace in the wake of the pandemic. Organisations of all sizes are turning to cloud applications due to their scalability, cost effectiveness, and convenience. The CSPM solution enables total visibility into the state of the cloud's security and offers in-depth knowledge of any potential flaws.
