HCLTech, a worldwide leader in technology solutions, has announced the growth of its IT footprint in Hyderabad by opening a new technology center. This important decision, expected to create 5,000 new job openings, was announced at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, after a crucial discussion involving Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, IT & Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, and HCLTech's global CEO and Managing Director, C Vijayakumar.

The newly constructed facility, covering 320,000 square feet in Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, aims to provide cutting-edge solutions in cloud computing, AI, and digital transformation to international clients across various sectors, such as hi-tech, life sciences, and financial services. It holds Gold Certification from the Indian Green Building Council, highlighting HCLTech's dedication to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices.

Speaking on the expansion, C Vijayakumar emphasized, "Hyderabad, with its world-class infrastructure and high-quality talent pool, has been a key location on HCLTech's global network. The new center will bring cutting edge capabilities to our global client base and contribute to the local technology ecosystem."

He invited both the Chief Minister and the IT & Industries Minister to officially open the new tech center in February 2025. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed his approval of the expansion, emphasizing its role in reinforcing Hyderabad's status as an international IT center.
