India has introduced the first
India-Philippine Tech Summit (IPTS) through its Embassy in Philippines to to assist support tech and digital alliance with Manila. In his speech during the IPTS in Taguig City, Indian Diplomat to Manila Shambhu Kumaran alluded to the requirement for non-industrial nations to foster associations among themselves — especially in security, individuals to-individuals ties, and the economy.
“With the arrival of AI (artificial intelligence), there will be further changes. There is a need for a partnership. And the summit is the beginning of that partnership,” Kumaran said.
The event, he mentioned said, would bring Indian business people and their achievements in the advanced space to the Philippines.
“For the Philippines, India offers an opportunity to study, adopt, synergize, and cooperate,” he added.
The summit brought Indian 'unicorns' — new businesses esteemed at more than $1 billion that are exclusive and not recorded on a share market and different new companies in the space of farming,
medical services and
financial technology (fintech) to the Philippines.
“The IPTS 2024 will bring together a range of stakeholders in the digital domain and provide an unprecedented opportunity for networking as well as to explore mutually beneficial G2B (government-to-business) and B2B (business-to-business) partnerships,” he said.
Ivan John Uy said the Philippine government stays quick to keep up with its organizations with the private sector. Until now, he said there are a few arrangements right now under discussion with the Indian government on 'network protection' and '
digital transformation.'
“The summit is a fitting renewal of cooperation and celebration of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries,” Uy said during a recorded speech.
