As per Tata Consultancy Services, an image and IoT solutions provider, Lexmark has chosen to alter its business applications, move faster to the cloud, and build up its innovation program. Finances for the deal were not made public. TCS will create a new cloud operating model and migrate Lexmark's complicated on-premise workloads to a public cloud. TCS is constructing a new digital core powered by SAP S4/HANA as part of this transition, altering business processes and user experiences throughout supply chain, finance, and order to cash functions. TCS will create a command center that will keep an eye on crucial business operations from beginning to end across the entire operations stack, including apps, data, infrastructure, and network.

Additionally, TCS will set up an Agile Innovation Cloud. To methodically speed up the ideation to execution process, the product teams of Lexmark will collaborate closely with TCS' team of innovators.

Finally, TCS will also help Lexmark take its Optra platform, which bridges IoT device data with core business systems, to manufacturing and retail clients worldwide. “For over two decades, TCS has been a strategic partner in our digital transformation journey, driving our vision to pioneer innovative imaging and IoT solutions and sustain growth momentum,” said Vishal Gupta, chief information and technology officer, Lexmark.

“Our Agile Innovation Cloud will enable sustained ideation and innovation aligned to Lexmark’s growth and transformation imperatives,” said V Rajanna, global head, technology, software, and services business group, TCS.
